Note that Linux still doesn't support anything other than the POSIX locale. This is a superset of the POSIX locale with support for all the accented characters. You need this to do compose processing in XFree86 3.x. I'm using this on my 1.1.5.1 system. Don't know whether it works on 2.0, but can't think of any reason why it wouldn't.
